About me

Welcome to My David Austin Rose Garden

Hello! I’m Subhashini from Bangalore, India (USDA Zone 10b), and I’m passionate about growing David Austin English Roses and other terrace plants using organic gardening methods.

I have over 15 years of experience in organic terrace gardening. For the past five years, I have dedicated myself to growing David Austin roses.

David Austin roses were originally bred in England, where they thrive in a different climate. However, because of their extraordinary beauty, abundant blooms, unforgettable fragrance, and classic English charm, gardeners around the world have embraced the challenge of growing them in many different climate zones.

As a gardener in USDA Zone 10b, I am on the same journey. It hasn’t always been easy. I have faced many challenges, made plenty of mistakes, and I’m still learning every season. But every success, every failure, and every lesson has helped me understand these beautiful roses a little better.

This website is where I share my personal journey, practical experiences, and proven techniques for growing David Austin roses in Zone 10b. Everything I write is based on what I have personally observed, tested, and practiced in my own organic terrace garden.

Here you’ll find growing tips, seasonal care guides, pruning advice, feeding schedules, pest and disease management, and practical solutions that have helped me improve my roses over time.

I don’t claim to know everything about David Austin roses. Every season teaches me something new. My goal is simply to share my real experiences, successes, failures, and lessons learned so that fellow gardeners can benefit from them.

I hope my experiences help you avoid common mistakes, save time, and give you the confidence to grow healthy, beautiful, and fragrant David Austin roses in your own garden.

If you find my articles, tips, and experiences helpful, I’d truly appreciate your support by following my journey and sharing this website with fellow rose lovers. Your encouragement inspires me to keep learning and sharing.

Thank you for visiting, and happy gardening! 🌹
